How do i take a 72 honda 350 motorcycle engine off?

Question by Josh D: How do i take a 72 honda 350 motorcycle engine off?
i am fixing up a 1972 honda 350 motorcycle and i was wondering how to take off the engine. i have most of the extra stuff around the engine and trans off (foot rests, passanger foot rests, little kick stand) but how do i get both the engine and the trans off completely off? and also the cord running into the trans? i that was the hard thing to figure out and i never got it.
but if you also know some online guides that would be great!

Have an older model Honda Motorcycle with a shorter VIN number and am trying to find out the exact model type and year.

By the body vin it could be an 1980 cb750f with dual over head cam 750cc inline 4 cyl. RC04-21**** is the serial for a ’80 cb750f. The engine vin references a 1983 GL650 675cc v-twin. RC10E-2***** is the serial for 674cc liquid cooled v-twin. If the engine vin you gave is right it could be a transplanted engine. The right engine for a 80 cb750f should have a serial of RC04E-21.

I lived in Korea both as an Army radio/TV journalist in 1974-75. Moved back in 76 as a civilian and taught English there until a Civil War forced me back home at the end of 1980. I am writing a book on this fascinating story as told from the saddle of a KIA Honda motorcycle. I’d like to have some info as to what became of this one-time sole manufacturer of bikes in Korea. Not even KIA seems to know.

KIA and Honda does not have any relationship. Korean and Chinese been know to copy designs and make ‘knock off’ bikes from Honda. I’m pretty sure Soichiro Honda doesn’ t want anything to do with KIA being Korea looking back in history with Wars.
