I have a 1978 Honda cb400TII Hawk II and it has this prechamber on it but they don’t make the stock exhaust for the bike anymore. Is this prechamber a necessity? I have seen a 2 into 1 exhaust system for this bike which would require the removal of this chamber, but I am unsure if removing it will mess up back pressure for the bike.

You dont need it, it is more for sound than anything.
You may have to make some slight adjustments to the carburetor settings but probably not on a bike that old.

I am looking to buy a bike soon, and am looking at the Yamaha YZF-R6s and the Honda CBR 600rr. Does anyone know of any good dealerships that sell good used bikes, aftermarket shops that I could get a Yoshimura TRC carbon slip on exhaust, and shops that sell riding gear that are in the san fernando valley preferrably in the woodland hills area?
