Q&A: 1980 honda 400 AT motorcycle that a battery charger with a booster start was use to try to start it?
Question by : 1980 honda 400 AT motorcycle that a battery charger with a booster start was use to try to start it?
tried to start the motorcycle with the booster charger on high, but it was put on wrong [hot to ground and negative to postive post], I replace the battery but still have no lights or power when I turn the key
on. Did he burn out something, or blow a fuse or something some, I cannot seem to find the problem

Yes there is a master fuse somewhere in there.Follow the red lead off the battery they are usually located by the starter solenoid.But on some of the older models the main fuse was mixed right in with the others.

Your master fuse is fried, follow the hot lead (red) to the fuse carriage (I believe on that bike it’s attached to the outside of the battery case). Check thorough all the main fuses (15 A & up) to be on the safe side before going shopping.
