I am novice buying my first bike and I have some concerns. 1) I heard tall people may have trouble steering on this bike. (I am 6’2″) 2) Pegs and heels often scrap on turns. 3) Front brakes lock.
Can you give me any insight into these concerns or any other information I could use in making the decition to buy a Rebel.

Another good bike in this class is the Yamaha Virago. Many people grow out of these bikes very quickly though.

When it is in neutral it seems like it is over reving. Sounds like I am applying the throttle.

you sure the carb not dirty since it shouldn’t have to never be adjusted but if you must just follow the throttle cable down to carb twist throttle a few times look to see at end what moves should see a set screw what cables moves alos might try typing

The paint job should cost you 300-500$ if you decide to chrome plate certain parts too. Vinyls and spares(the old rubber has to go) could cost upto another 100$ . Labour should also set you back, bu the margin depends on who you hire.Hope this helps.

It depends on the condition of the bike. Does it have new(not just good condition) tires, battery, brakes, etc.? $ 1000 would be for excellent condition on a bike that old. Without seeing it I’d have to guess that $ 500 to $ 600 would be more reasonable. Check for what a bike like that goes for on Ebay also helps. I attached a link to one of three on there now.

I’m going to be turning sixteen relatively soon, and would like to own a Honda Cub, as well as share my sisters car, because I’ve heard of their near indestructibility. Would I need to have a motorcycle license in northern Illinois to drive it in the streets?

I don’t like the seat that came with the bike yet I bought the bike from a private owner. I don’t know where to go, who to ask, for a stylish yet sleek seat for it. can anyone direct me where to search?

I was in the same dilemma with a VTX 1300. I opted to cover the original seat in ostrich, color? black like the bike. it looks hot . monk
I only wish I had used real leather and not imitation. price it out both ways. my seat front and rear are huge and I only paid 275.
